HRA PLANNING Chartered Town Planning Consultants DAC is seeking ambitious qualified and experienced Town Planners to join its Limerick City base. The candidates will assist in the provision of professional Town Planning services on a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects across the country for and on behalf of our existing public and private sector client base.
Senior Planning Opportunities
Experienced candidates will preferably possess experience across a range of sectors, be commercially minded, and demonstrate a desire to lead on Planning projects in response to client requirements and company ethos in delivery for these clients.
Requirements:
- IPI and / or RTPI accredited degree or higher within planning related subject
- Preferable 2 years’ experience within the industry
- Hold MIPI and / or MRTPI status
- Sound knowledge of Irish planning system and legislation
- Effective report writing skills
- Commercially astute and have effective stakeholder management capability
- Highly presentable and self-motivated
- Experience of using ARC GIS, an advantage
The role will present opportunity to work on an exciting range of Planning projects in numerous areas of the Irish planning system thus contributing to professional development and your career progression. Whilst not limited to, we would be particularly interested to hear from candidates seeking a pathway to a leadership role in the organisation, or to experienced candidates who may be seeking to return to Planning but cannot commit to a full-time role at this time.
Graduate Planner Opportunities
Candidates for the graduate position must have recently qualified in Town Planning or related town planning programme (in the UK/Ireland) or working toward final year studies in Town Planning this academic year. Candidates must demonstrate by way of CV and supporting statement, their interests and experience (where relevant) in Town Planning, report writing and visual presentation and graphical map skills and, their career objectives.
Graduate candidates will be expected to assist on all areas of planning projects including conducting effective research, report writing, mapping and visual presentations. Effective verbal and written communication skills relevant to this position are essential.
