Appointed as lead planning advisor to secure consent for the development of 597 no. residential units including private, social, cost rental and build to rent units with associated creche and ancillary retail units.
The application was a local authority own development made direct to An Bord Pleanála under ‘Part 10’. HRA Planning managed the planning application process and were primary authors and project managers of the Environmental Impact Assessment Report. HRA Planning formulated the planning strategy and prepared statutory submissions including Statements of Planning Compliance and a BTR Justification Report.
The Planning strategy required effective delivery of Planning and EIA guidance to the design team, and co-ordination and peer review of technical information in the environmental assessment in order to demonstrate compliance with Planning objectives, whilst fulfilling environmental impact assessment obligations response to the built heritage of this site, necessary to secure planning permission.
