National Ports Policy 2013

The National Ports Policy 2013 acknowledges the Shannon Foynes Port Company masterplan (prepared by HRA PLANNING) in strategic port development and growth.

The National Ports Policy announced by Government in late March 2013 sets out details that will see it take a more active role in the managing of the country’s 19 ports and sees the Shannon Foynes Port designated the highest priority Tier 1 .A strategic masterplan for Shannon Foynes Port Company was prepared by HRA PLANNING in February 2013 setting out the physical, economic and environemtal objectives for the Shannon Foynes Port Company.  Further details of the SFPC Masterplan can be found in our project section.
