Town/Environmental Planning Internship

HRA | Planning seek to recruit a Town/Environmental Planner Intern under the National Internship Scheme to work on a range of projects for the public and private sector.  The applicant must be reliable and trustworthy, capable of working on their own initiative and as part of a team. Good report writing skills are essential and the candidate must have a good knowledge of the Irish Planning System and legislation.  Knowledge in the preparation of EIA and SEA would be beneficial. GIS skills (autocad / Arc GIS) along with graphic and multi-media skills although not essential would be a distinct advantage.  The intern will gain practical experience in a town planning consultancy, in the particular area of environmental planning.

 

The applicant must have a post graduate degree in town / spatial planning from an accredited IPI / RTPI course. Please submit an up to date CV and cover letter in writing to HRA | PLANNING, 3 Hartstonge Street, Limerick with the title Internship Application on the top right hand corner of the envelope. Electronic applications will not be accepted.
