Substitute Consent planning permission

HRA PLANNING has secured planning permission, and ‘substitute consent’ from An Bord Pleanála for a sand and gravel quarry in Co. Clare.

 

HRA PLANNING were tasked by the quarry operator to devise a planning and development strategy to enable the continued use and expansion of an existing pre-1964 quarry.  HRA PLANNING project managed the entire planning application process including design team instruction, provision of supporting statements demonstrating compliance with planning policy and guidelines, and, project management and authoring the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and the remedial Environmental Impact Statement for the purpose of the Substitute Consent process.

 

The planning application and the findings of the environmental impact assessments (EIS and rEIS) were accepted without challenge by the planning appeals Board demonstrating again, the ability by HRA PLANNING to provide integrated landuse planning and environmental planning services.
