HRA PLANNING is currently retained to provide the Department of Arts Heritage and the Gaeltacht with Planning and Environmental Planning services to assist them with the Governments’ National programme to relocate turf cutting from 53 designated Natura 2000 sites (SACs) throughout the Country, to non designated sites.
HRA PLANNING are tasked with evaluating each alternative location from a planning and environmental perspective and to obtain planing consent at each new alternative location through the preparation and lodgement of the necessary planning applications and environmental impact assessment statements.
This commission requires a fundamental understanding of the numerous overlapping facets of planing provisions relating to landuse development and environmental impact assessment as they arise from the site specific characteristics presented by each alternative location.
